Beautiful location right on the beach, perfect after an 11 hour flight from the UK! Lots of option at breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as freshly cooked takeaway snacks throughout the day which include pizza, fajitas etc. Small kids play area including a climbing wall and little house perfect for our 3 year old. 2 large pools for relaxing throughout the day. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back!

The property is beautiful, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They encourage you to speak Spanish but are very low-key about it. It is right on the pacific warm ocean and you can hop between the pool and the ocean.

    The resort was nice, pool was refreshing.

    The resort was nice, pool was refreshing. No premium drinks, a bottle of Crown was $90, and only 1 brand of beer. The food at the buffet wasn't the greatest. Fish was dry, salad dressings were odd or just oil and vinegar. One day I had a poached egg and the yolk was hard and the whites were runny. French toast was hard and tough on the outside and soggy on the middle. You could only eat in the specialty restaurants once for every 3 days of stay.

    It’s a beautiful place if you’re looking to relax and enjoy...

    It’s a beautiful place if you’re looking to relax and enjoy sceneries. It’s very Humid there but, worth it. It’s not much of a party place if you’re looking for a younger crowd to hang out and have fun. Also, some of the excursions involve a lot of hiking. So, bring comfortable gym shoes or water shoes.

    We loved the time of year, the rainy season.

    We loved the time of year, the rainy season. There were few travelers, and it was hot but not as hot as the dry season. We did not have trouble getting chairs by the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful.

    We had two adults and three children and thus needed 2 rooms...

    We had two adults and three children and thus needed 2 rooms. We booked for 1 night and they let us stay thru lunch the following day. It was confortable. The pools were large and the children loved it.

    The location is very beautiful and suitable for people looking for a calm or romantic weekend. No more snorkel guided tours due to Covid Overpriced food for the quality that is offered Difficult to reach from San Jose because the roads are in poor state: foresee more than 4 hours drive without traffic Most hotels are overpriced for the quality they offer

    Loved that it was adults only. Everyone staying at the hotel were really friendly, we spent hours in the swim up mini pool chatting. Private beach with kayaks (free), massages (on the beach are cheap and good!) and jet ski’s. Howler monkeys live on site eating the mangoes and the largest iguanas we saw on holiday too. The food buffet was good for vegetarians but lacking in protein but this was true for everywhere in Costa Rica we stayed. It is on a hillside so expect to walk a bit around the property as it’s a big place. Room was lovely.
