I strongly recommend staying in the Hampton Inn Hotel near Liberia airport and less than 30 minutes from Coco. The town of Coco is not suited for walking as there are only a few run down sidewalks. Food is excellent although extraordinarily expensive. Weather was hot and sunny but beach was not particularly welcoming with a run down pathway filled with stoners. Water perfect warmth and sand silky, but poor ocean visibility near shore as the black sand was churned up by the waves. Had to walk a long way out to get to water above my knees.
