The hotel which is a new construction, seamlessly blends modernity with the town’s classic infrastructure. The staff is incredibly friendly, and while the parking lot is spacious, it’s limited. But the highlight of our stay was the breakfast! It was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had in Villa de Leyva. Rooms are very big; ours said it could have 4 people. I thought it was too much for us, but it was perfect for a couple while being big enough to enjoy. The view from the room is incredible. The bathroom is very modern to rest and enjoy. Despite the heavy rain that poured on our night of stay, we couldn’t hear anything from the bed not the rain or neighbors, only when I went to the bathroom at midnight I realize it was raining. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to disconnect and rest with a great breakfast.

    The local people were very warm and hospitable. The food and atmosphere at the eateries were chose was excellent. The town is beautiful as are the surrounds. We visited Raquira which is not far and a biodynamic winery Abaran. Great experiences both shopping, visiting a couple of local museums and other public buildings.

    Villa turned out to be a magical spot surrounded by mountain. People are so simple and so nice and so smily! Weather is great, sunny, warm and cool at night. Food is super varied and delicious at a great price. It is a must see in Colombia!!!

    Went for a wedding this time but have been there many times before. Love it for what it was 20+ years ago (a quiet little historic town of colonial architecture full of little local shops) and for what it has become: a great place for classical music, adventure (trekking, canyoning), events, art, handcrafts and great food!

    Very nice old town.

    Very nice old town. Closeby to Bogota so perfect for a weekend. There is more than enough things to do within Villa De Leyva but also outside. There are several Tourist points where information can be gathered.

    Villa de Leyva is a wonderful place to visit.

    Villa de Leyva is a wonderful place to visit. Explore this picturesque mountain town. Learn about its rich colonial past. Hang out in and around the huge main square, the largest in Colombia. Excellent food! Grab a delicious empanada or sit down for a yummy pastry and coffee or hot chocolate. There are two great spots across from the main bus station. Best deals in town! Travel tip --- If you are taking a bus from Bogota, take the Flota bus. https://www.flotavalledetenza.com/ We tried another carrier on the way there. It was NOT a fun ride! Cuidado!

    Its a colonial town with picturesque houses, ando stone roads, you feel like you traveled time. The whole town has white walls, and red roof tiles, is very well kept. With very good restaurants, shops and night life, the weather its perfect, sunny in the day and cool at night. Safe to travel

    This hotel is the best hotel ever. It was not just a hotel to spend the night, it was an experience from the moment you check in, to the sad moment you have to leave. This is a place where they pamper and spoil you. We did not want to leave. If you get the chance of going to Villa de Leyva, do not hesitate and stay here. The price is a little bit higher than other hotels in the area, but it is totally worth it mainly if you are celebrating a special ocassion. These people surely know what they are doing.

    Everything was perfect - the staff are friendly, welcoming, and offered some great recommendations and tips to get the most out of our time in Villa de Leyva. Our room was awesome; it was quiet at night, the bed was great, and it felt very secure and private. The bathroom, and especially the shower, was amazing. Hot water without sacrificing all the pressure, with plenty of room. The wifi was great, a quick walk to the bus station, with plenty of affordable places to eat nearby. 100% recommended!

    Stiven & William really makes sure you have a pleasant stay. They go out of their way to do so. The location is great, no need to bring your car into the narrow streets of Villa de Leyva, you can easily walk everywhere from here. The hotel is just opposite the sports stadium so you have easy access to the 400m track for walking/running or biking (respect the walkers/runners) There is a kitchen in the common area with fridge for your stuff and you can cook if you're on a budget.

    A perfect choice for Villa de Leyva. Around a 5-min walk from the main square, this is a great hotel. Beautiful building. Absolutely huge bed! Everything in the room (including a safe) was very good. Very friendly staff and the best breakfast I had during my visit to Colombia. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Villa de Leyva.
