Sarnen is so beautiful with lush green hillsides, breathtaking views of the surrounding Alps, pretty streams and a peaceful lake. There are lovely walking trails and parks with boating activities and fantastic amenities. We were only able to stay a short while, but enjoyed a delicious dinner at Molini's, which we highly recommend. Everything we needed for our brief visit was within walking distance, or easy walk to the nearby train station.Guest review byJoanUnited States - 10.0

Sarnen is a lovely little town, with a wide range of shops, two supermarkets and a garage. There are lots of walks in the surrounding area which are well signposted. A small river runs through the centre. The town has a range of restaurants. It was very well situated for our overnight stop on a drive down to Italy.Guest review byMark

The sauna area was an added treat. We had the place to ourselves. The mountain views surrounding the whole town were picturesque. Lovely outdoor terrace for dinner & drinks. Cute town, great base for us (we had a car) to spend the day doing Grindelwald/interlaken (1 hr drive) without having to pay the hugely expensive prices of those towns.
