I had the most wonderful experience at this hotel. The location was perfect, offering stunning views that truly took my breath away. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The room is very, very big and beautiful we put an extra bed in the room but it is so big it was not noticeable at all. The bed is very big and comfortable and the shower is luxurious. The highlight of the room is the huge balcony with a view of the mountains to the golf course and Lake Lucerne, you can leave the car in the parking and go to Lucerne by public transport very convenient

I travelled for work and only stayed one night. Mistakenly i booked the wrong date however the staff was excellent and corrected my booking immediately. All staff was friendly and helpful, the room was fantastic you are immersed in luxury from the moment you walk inside. Breakfast was fantastic with enough choice and high quality food. When leaving we received a small gift bag with water and chocolate. The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance and when leaving the hotel you are immediately in the beautiful city centre. Definitely visiting again!

    A beautiful and happy place with plenty to see and do - provided you are clever enough to carry every possible gadget for charging your phones and are lucky enough to get into the accommodation you book. Buses, trains etc are very convenient, and stores like CO-OP are convenient places to pick up essentials - as long as you are aware of the expenses involved and do all you shopping before 7pm!

    Honestly this was one of the prettiest towns I’ve ever visited. The architecture is amazing, the nature is stunning. The clothing shops are so nice. That being said, it’s also one of the most expensive towns I’ve ever been to. All the other places we visited in Switzerland were less expensive. Still, totally worth it. 3- 4 nights is probably enough.

    A beautiful city to relax in.

    A beautiful city to relax in. I am amazed the population is only 80,000 people! One of the buskers had a super voice and and was playing an unusual zither. I recommend putting your camera away and looking with your eyes, listening with your ears and feeling with all of your senses, otherwise how can you truly experience this place?

    Luzern is an ideal base for a holiday in Switzerland. As an historic city it has much to offer, and the setting is idyllic, surrounded by stunning scenery and the expanse of the lake. I loved exploring the old town, the art galleries, and the charm of the Hotel Schweizerhof where I enjoyed a superb breakfast and experienced old world Swiss hospitality at its best. I would love to come back!

    Beautiful Old Town with the famous Chapel Bridge, Lucerne is a must-see visit while in Switzerland! If you are driving a car, park in the modern parking garage centrally located at the train station. Hopefully your stay will allow you to see the Chapel Bridge at night, its lights reflecting on the waters of the Reuss River - very pretty.

    Naturally, I was a bit afraid of sleeping in a capsule for the first time but the whole stay was great! The hotel is modern, clean. Capsules have comfortable mattresses, the exchange of air inside works great and there is enough space for not feeling claustrophobic. There is a nice lobby for guests and the staff was very friendly and showed me around. Definitely a great price for a night in Switzerland. Very recommended.

    I stayed at AMERON Lucerne for one night and really enjoyed my experience. The hotel was very stylish, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the coffee machine and complimentary coffee in the room—it was a great touch. The room temperature was just right, making the stay even more pleasant. The location was also excellent—just a 5-minute walk to the lakeside.

    Spacious comfortable room, fairly basic but clean and tidy. Really excell.ent location, in the old town and very near to the river. Walkable to everywhere. Liked being able to use the swimming pool at the sister hotel, lovely at the end of a very hot day. Really helpful staff and liked being ablve to leave our luggage at the hotel as we arrived in Lucerne early and left late.

    A really interesting place to stay; a converted prison, with some museum artifacts from history. Great central location. This place is a hotel and a hostel. We had a twin room and it matched a standard budget hotel for comfort. Switzerland is not cheap and this place is good value.
