Absolutely amazing specially the staff and management. Patrick was so helpful and attentive with a welcoming attitude and good sense of humour.the hotel itself is clean and in a quiet area yet it is still within close proximity to shops and restaurant. A bus stop is in front of the hotel that goes to the old town of Luzern. I will definitely recommend it to anyone.

    This city is a short distance from Lucerne.

    This city is a short distance from Lucerne. There are frequent trains that go to Lucerne and further into Unterwalden. The main attraction in Hergiswill is the glass works and its museum and restaurant. There is a boat that stops there. One of its benefits is hotels that cost less than Lucerne Hotels and offer great views of the Lake. Consider it a suburb of Lucerne.

    It's a very lovely hotel, location is perfect right in front of the lake. 10 minutes for a lovely walk from the Hergiswil train station to the hotel. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Oh and it's only 2 stations away to the Alpnachstad Pilatus station.

    The street view room, was exactly that, but the two little balconies made up for it and as I was arriving late and leaving early i appreciated the value for money. Breakfast was exceptional, with so many delicious choices. The single room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. A perfect stopover on a long drive. The bonus for me were the swimming steps into the lake directly in front of the hotel and the bathrobe too. I will definitely be back.

    Friendly staffs, thanks to the driver taking us from and to the station, we had two heavy luggages which making walking difficult, but it is only 10mins walk from the station to the hotel. Great outdoor areas. Best breakfast of the month in Europe, wide variety and everything tastes really good. The pool and spa were great also.

    The hotel has a nice view towards the lake and the mountains. However it depends on the room you choose. The hotel also has a nice pool, jacuzzi and good seating options in the back garden with a nice view.
