The almost semi tropical vegetation is a delight to the eyes with lush Meditaranean types of trees such as cypress,magnolia,olive and even palms.The Brissago islands are a must for any visitor who appreciates exotic plants Brissago is a beautiful spot on the lake although the road from Locarno is quite busy.
