We came to Prince George to visit the Ancient Cedars and what a great experience that was just over 1 hour and 15 min past PG. We also spent time geocaching im the area, visiting many parks like Moores Meadow, Connaught Hill, and Ness Lake which was great for swimmkng, and Deadfall brewing which were all fantastic. My stay in Prince George was fine. No complaints. It was the booking that has me so angry! I booked my stay from a Canadian City to stay in another Canadian City & I paid with a Canadian credit card. Why did my rate become an American rate???? I was led to believe I was paying $112.00 for my room but was actually charged $154.79 I am discusted that you would deceive your customer in this manner & has left me no choice but to sever my relationship with booking.com....... Prince George is the medical hub for Northern BC.
Prince George is the medical hub for Northern BC. That is the only reason we go there. The hospital is excellent but extremely busy as is everywhere medical these days. Nice university, good restaurants and outdoor activities. Lots of backcountry adventures available.. Great skiing at Powder King 2 hours north.Guest review byNEDRACanada - 6.0

Prince George is a great city, and the people are very...
Prince George is a great city, and the people are very friendly. The best place to eat is the BX Pub on Carney St. at 5th Ave. The city is sometimes a challenge to negotiate, but it is large and spread out when you first arrive. Be sure to find a GOOD hotel, I chose badly and will never recommend the Super 8. There were not even hand rails on tiles of the deep tub, very dangerous.Guest review byRitaCanada - 8.0
The bus system is very good.
The bus system is very good. Emerald taxi was on time and very helpful with my bags. There is unlimited activities and places to go. Food at Boston Pizza and Tim Hortons was wonderful. I think the owners must have had an interior designer do it for them - there are lots of small touches that make a real difference.
