Niagara-on-the-lake is a fabulous location.
Niagara-on-the-lake is a fabulous location. So much to see, do and take in. From Fort George historic museum, to the Shaw Festival, to the beautiful flowered lined streets, the golf course bar view of NY across the river to wineries. We were there for 2 nights 3 days and really enjoyed every it of it. The restaurants like The Cannery at Pillar & Post (they have a beautiful garden across the street) to Tiara Restaurant at Queen’s Landing, food and service are excellent. This charming city is welcoming. We felt completely safe as we strolled the streets visiting the shops and dining in the local restaurants. Of course, dinner at the Prince of Wales was perfect. The park and many inviting benches made it easy to take a leisurely stroll even in the heat. It's a beautiful, and historic, small town with much to offer any traveler; proximity to Niagara Falls, proximity to Southern Ontario's wine country, interesting shopping and of course, The Shaw Festival. For the sailors, NOTL Yacht Club is also very nice.Guest review byDavidCanada - 10.0

Each item was freshly prepared and served by the hosts; the offerings were delicious and plentiful. The "main" courses, ordered by the guests the night before, were hot and filling. Great coffee and teas were available all day. We stayed for two nights, taking day trips into town and the falls.
