Really not a very thriving city it seems - all the taxi drivers said the same thing. The economy is poor and the costs are high. Looks like it has a lot of empty commercial properties and yet there are individual islands of attraction - the Capitol theatre, the Museum, the River Park with the possibility of renting electric scooters and some nice cafes.Guest review byDDFAUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Took a taxi from the airport to my accommodation.
Took a taxi from the airport to my accommodation. What should have been a $17 to $20 charge cost me over $35.00. I missed visiting some places because there were no busses on Good Friday or Easter Sunday. I would have taken a city bus between the airport and my hotel but the nearest bus stop was to far to walk with my luggage. The Maritime Bus left a few minutes before my scheduled arrival time, so I could not take it. Daily bus service would be a big improvement.
