It is very pretty any time of the year but especially at Christmas. I visit a lot of European cities. Even having fully researched, Bruges was better than what I expected. Bigger than what I expected. Bruges was a stop on the way back from Eastern Europe and it was far more than I expected. It was so interesting historically, architecturally and in so many other ways. Going for a boat trip across down is a must to get another perspective on the town. It's easy to walk around with so much to see and do.
