In summary everything went well - it was a wonderful experience overall! Firstly the vibe of the place - this is not your standard cookie cutter resort in PD. This has a very unique style with massive murals, funky coloured furniture, and all the comforts. Uniquely, in the pool area there's the facilities of a standard kitchen providing guests the option to prepare their meals (Coles is just a short walk) and relax in a shaded dining area poolside. The pool area had a calming waterfall and it was great to hang out and experience peace and tranquility. As a solo traveller it was great to meet other guests of all nationalities and enjoy each other's company. Staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging my return transportation to Cairns at very short notice - Ruth you're a superstar! The ownership has transformed a standard '60's vintage Motel into a truly unique property - hats off to them!

It's amazing place, in the middle of the jungle. Everything is organized perfectly - fully equipped kitchen, you got your own cutlery set and shelf, but you are not feeling like cooking breakfast and dinner are served as well as fresh coffee. Beautiful rainforest and wildlife everywhere, we even seen a cassowary peeping through the kitchen window :D
