lovely outlook, quiet location and very nice rooms. we had the spa suite, which was great. Good water pressure! Often motel showers can be disappointing, but not here. Electric blankets a nice touch too.

Great location next to train station, great food, excellent staff,Mark was excellent and I would highly recommend the Royal to anyone great big rooms too very modern clean and spacious.

Robyn and Col are super friendly and welcoming. Multiple rooms of the house were available to us, including lounge room and outdoor verandah. Got to experience farm life - milking the cows, feeding the donkeys, playing with the dogs and cats. Delicious breakfasts, with generous serves and varying options. Tea, coffee, fruit and sweet treats available during the day. Plenty of fresh towels and face washers. The pillow menu provided multiple pillows of varying firmness. A wonderful place to stay!

There was water and a treat waiting in the room for us along with some biscuits, it was a very nice touch. The room was very clean and beds comfortable.

    Warragul has friendly people.

    Warragul has friendly people. It is a rural supply town, dairy farmers and the retail that supports that, yes there’s a hospital and a few schools, but it’s not a tourist town. It’s a stuffy, rather well healed piece of Burwood transplanted into Gippsland. Maybe harsh on my part as an ex local of West Gippsland - it’s just not that exciting, warm porridge thrills me more

    Warragul is a friendly country town, roughly an hour and a half drive from Melbourne. The town centre is compact and has most things you would need. Plenty of cafes and places to eat. We ate at the Commercial Hotel which has great meals and friendly, helpful staff. I actually left my hotel pass card on the table and one of the staff raced after us to return it to me.

    We had never been to Warragul before and we came for friends...

    We had never been to Warragul before and we came for friends celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. We were able to do some local shopping and on the following morning go to a local café with friends for breakfast. We had travelled from central Victoria. Warragul is a beautiful city.

    Warragul is a lovely town in the Gippsland area of Victoria.

    Warragul is a lovely town in the Gippsland area of Victoria. It has ample shopping opportunities and is well catered for in terms of supermarkets. It is located about one and half to two hours from Melbourne and the car trip is very straight forward on freeways.

    As a Vegan animal lover, these places are hell on earth and it's all so matter of fact and cruelty hiding in plain sight. Shops close early, restaurants were average at best, people were not that friendly. I wouldn't live here if you gave me a free house, I would re-gift it to a homeless person that eats meat !!

    Friendly welcoming staff, accommodation had everything you need, full kitchen, oven, microwave, toaster, heading, aircond, tvs, pool. The cabin was very clean & well presented & ours had carport parking. Located quick drive from town centre & arts centre. Surrounded by parkland & walking track. Easily accessible off the freeway good location to base for activities in the area.

    The location and proximity to the town of Warragul was excellent. An easy and enjoyable walk through a park. The unit we stayed in had a private treed entrance; gave the feeling of comfort and welcoming.

    Not bad for a cheap hotel! Boot YTB. Downside is that the he wifi shut down from time to time. And the toaster blew the power on every occasion of use. But overall cheap and not to nasty
