    We needed a place for the night which was clean and...

    We needed a place for the night which was clean and comfortable and the Blue Pelican suited all our requirements as we were not on holiday, just passing through on a long journey. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms was clean and neat. The Club across the road was just right. The BIstro was very well priced and we had a good choice of meals but enjoyed a roast pork dinner.

    Tweed Heads is how I remember it from my last visit several...

    Tweed Heads is how I remember it from my last visit several years ago. It's like a country town, everyone is happy, streets are clean shops are all lovely. lovely food places to eat or just sit and have coffee. We were able to walk everywhere as it's all so close. We loved Tween Heads.

    If you have never been to Tweed Heads before, you will enjoy...

    If you have never been to Tweed Heads before, you will enjoy the nearby beaches, variety of cafes & restaurants. Our favourite is the Orient Restaurant located in the Twin Towns club. Short drive to northern NSW beaches and hinterland. Coolangatta & Kirra to the north are worth a visit as well.

    I enjoy Tweed Heads .

    I enjoy Tweed Heads .It is a very relaxing place to stay and conveniently close to The Gold Coast Airport.It has a very relaxed atmosphere and it is easy to walk to Coolangatta's Beaches and shops .

    I have stayed at Twin Towns many times over the years.

    I have stayed at Twin Towns many times over the years. Great location, Easy access to beach and shops. All under cover so weather is not a problem especially if you are using Twin Towns Club facilities. Twin Towns club is an upmarket club with great food and variety.

    Tweed heads is a great place to stay if you like swimming...

    Tweed heads is a great place to stay if you like swimming and have a watercraft to use on the river. Fishing and jetskiing seems to be the favourite activity on the water. Most restaurants and clubs are closer to Coolangatta. The beaches are in Coolangatta or Kira.

    Worst experiences in Gold coast ever! I had a late check in on August 1 night which I had informed the hotel by email in advance. They accepted my order and ask me to call operators for bounds and pre-check in. It was 10 pm with 2 kids at the airport and very busy when talking with the operators. It turns out when we arrived ,they gave the wrong room. After communication over 1 hour. Finally 3 of us get the correct room in mid-night. Very exhausted and hard communication. I post some photos to prove my comments .

    My Elderly Aunt stayed at Las Vegas Hotel.Facilities were good,Staff were okay but my aunt or I were unaware that if she ran out of toilet paper or tea,coffee etc she had to go and get it from the office herself.When the room was cleaned,no toiletries or beverage supplys were replaced.I would have replaced those items if I had of known that it was self service from the office.

    I have stayed in almost every motel in the Tweed area. This one is the best. Best maintained, cleanest, fantastic bed. Staff were helpful, unusual to actually see staff at a motel in Tweed Heads!
