The location of this place is awesome, you only have to cross a road to be on the beach, restaurants and cafés are easy to reach as well. Derek and Ange were the loveliest hosts! Even though they sent us a detailed description of how to use the keyless system to get into the apartment, they explained everything and showed us the room themselves as well. They were genuinely interested in us as their guests and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is brand-new, very spacious and the beds are extremely comfy! The interior design is very pleasing and the whole place was exceptionally clean. We went and explored some pristine beaches in the area, only a couple of minutes to drive. If we had had more time, we definitely would have spent more nights at Shellharbour Haven! Highly recommended!

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too hard even when the hotel bar and restaurant were busy. Rooms are beautifully furnished and are clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone.

    Love the quietness of the town yet it has everything you...

    Love the quietness of the town yet it has everything you need in it. Love the cafes, that there is a supermarket and the few cute little boutique shops. It is very walkable too and right near the beach, so I felt like I got everything in this little town.

    Everything is in easy walking distance from Laurie & Barb's apartment. Shellharbour town is very pleasant. It has everything one would require for a getaway. The main shopping precinct has lots of varied eateries. The fish & chip shop does a roaring trade, but we bought Thai which was excellent! The local tavern appeared to have good clientele also and the cake shop had lovely selections and great coffee! All this right by the harbour. There is an IGA in the main street, and if you drive 5 mins to Shell Cove, there is a Woolworths.

    Shellharbour is part of a greater urban area, Shellharbour City. It provides plenty of differing accommodation options, has a great range of shops, restaurants and lovely beaches, is easy to travel around, and is no more than 40 minutes drive from a great area of the NSW South Coast from Lake Illawarra to the Shoalhaven region. This is a great place for a summer holiday for families of all ages.

    The location was great. A bit misleading regarding distance to Cafes, Restaurants and Hotel but all still within walking distance. The beaches were great; uncrowded, ocean temp superb and crystal-clear water. Very relaxing, sitting out on the back deck. Another plus was its close proximity to Kiama, a bustling tourist town. All in all, really happy with the cottage, it's location and only a 3-hour drive from home.

    Room very good size, was clean, bathroom was big, had big bath, has a little mini bar in the fridge if need, we didnt use though, the location is really good, close to shops and walking about information center is close by, you need to go there they were very helpful also, when there you need to go to Shellharbour square, to do SHOPPING, it is huge there.
