Great location with easy access to the wineries and other attractions in the region. Enjoyed great railway station playground at :Angaston and coffee all around the region. It’s a nice location.
It’s a nice location. Only a few minutes from most places by car. But if you are walking or without a vehicle you may feel a little isolated with nothing but the hotel and golf course around you. We dined and shopped in Tununda and Angaston so wheels were needed. The motel and I’ll call it that is far from a resort and the amenities in the room are basic but ample in most cases. No mini bar to grab a quick drink was disappointing but easily rectified next time by bringing your own champagne or other drinks and nibbles. Did not eat at the restaurant so cannot comment. General lack of enthusiasm by most staff we bumped into. Overall it’s a nice place to stay. Room rate a little high for what you get but not much other choice in the price range.Guest review byChrisAustralia - 10.0
Accomodation was very well presented.
Accomodation was very well presented. It was clean and comfortable with all bathroom and kitchen amenities (including food to cook your own breakfast) was provided. after pondering over where to stay we decided to stay here...
after pondering over where to stay we decided to stay here again. the rooms have been updated and are so beautiful and clean. the staff were lovely. The Restaurant staff so welcoming and the food and wine were lovely at reasonable prices as well. We were really relaxed and loved the sunrise over the hills.
