AustraliaStaff are friendly and welcoming. Though we were barely there for the week we stayed we had everything we needed. Very hard to get accomodation in Port Augusta at the time but Lisa( receptionist) the legend made room for me and my children for a week stay in such short notice. Very thankful.

IndiaThere was a personalized touch as the Owner himself came to greet us. The staff is extremely friendly , helpful and cooperative. It felt like a home away from home. We were a group of ~20 people including children and 1-2 of our dinner orders were placed beyond the Restaurant closing time but the staff was very courteous and warm - they didn't complaint even once. We had the Indian food which was finger licking good! :-) The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were very neat. It was complete value for money!!

We loved the location, next day we could go and participate to Parkrun just 5 minutes from the hotel.
Grocery shops just around the corner.
Nice and quiet area and beautiful room.
They send me a code for the private car park and code for the front door and bedroom where we found our keys.
Very easy.

IrelandThe rooms were so clean and comfortable! One of the best motels we stayed on our road trip! Good value and pet friendly too! Hotel Augusta, which was only 5 minutes walk away, was happy to have doggies on their terrace! They also served great food! We have already booked for our return journey!

Port Augusta is an underrated gem of a town. Great shopping, lots of cafes, a traveler’s rest kind of vibe. I had a brush with the law while I was there-failing to indicate in a timely manner-but the policeman couldn’t have been nicer. He understood that I was new here, and allowed me some leeway. Only a caution, and some knowledgeable advice on the ins and outs of the town generally. Astounding. Port Augusta is beyond disappointing. On the map it looks like it would be a great place to stay. In reality, it offers almost nothing for visitors other than an overnight stop for people going where they really want to go, which is clearly NOT Port Augusta. It has so much unrealised potential to be a 'destination' but its lack of desire to serve tourists leaves it as nothing more than a 'waypoint'.Guest review byAllynAustralia - 8.0

Port Augusta is nice peaceful place with plenty of food places, Accomodation when not booked out is clean and restful. With Big W and KMart Hub Sports and Toy Shop and other food and other places to peruse a good place for a week stay they also have Wadlata Outback and a nature ground to look at Not far away is the Flinders Ranges and a lot of thing else around , with a bit of Sight Seeing within Driving DistanceGuest review byMaywald - 10.0

We thoroughly enjoyed our Port Augusta trip. We stayed at the Augusta Courtyard Motel, which was excellent. There may not be a lot to see but it’s quite a pretty town & nothing’s very far away. We went down to the wharf for a peaceful stroll and took some lovely photos. Had breakfast in a cafe adjacent to a park, where there was free live music courtesy of a band that was singing and playing. They even supplied fold up chairs for folks to sit in 👍 A great morning was had before we headed off to the race track. Our horse wasn’t a winner but everything else was. The Wadlata Centre was excellent.
The Wadlata Centre was excellent. Certainly worth the entry fee. We stayed at the Magestic Oasis Apartments - friendly, helpful staff in a lovely location. Full kitchen facilities. The air conditioner was very welcomed as the outside temperature was 42 C. A tad hot!Guest review byGailAustralia
