    A great gem of the SA spot.

    A great gem of the SA spot. The golf course and club are also amazing and so picturesque. You are always guaranteed to encounter kangaroos there in large numbers. The new beach / surf club is also great with good food - try their seafood burger, really nice.

    Great beach for families.

    Great beach for families. Caravan Park with cabins that have sea views. Excellent cafe and restaurant right on the beach - very good seafood choices with local wines to choose from. Close to wineries, galleries and eating spots in McLaren Vale with the iconic Willunga Market open on Saturday.

    Instead of single use milk in plastic containers we were pleasantly surprised to be provided with a whole 1lt carton of milk in fridge ready for our use. Everything we found was above our expectations,& little treats were also available for our pleasure. We were also given privilege of sharing herbs growing in garden that were fresh- very appreciative. Very adequate seating facilities for 2 people, more than needed& what really impressed me was stainless steel saucepans, cutlery & very adequate range of kitchen gadgets & odds & ends. SO happy with our stay there.Night of arrival a quick walk up to the Foodland store for a few extras for our evening meal but in the way back was almost tempted to call at fish & chip shop for easy meal. I was also very grateful for an easy to use 2 ring gas stovetop, besides the microwave, but the best thing was a reasonably sized , holiday fridge with adequate freezer space for our time away.Walk next morning to the jetty & beach was a little further, but we discovered a friendly place for walking& exploring. We enjoyed off peak time as looks like may be swarming with visitors in the peak of summer.

    I love visiting this quaint little sea side town, so tranquil and peaceful. Especially at winter, favourite time of year to visit. Great pizza at Mare Bello! Great coffee at Little Sister! We come back and stay at Lady Bay regularly! A quick getaway to rejuvenate.

    Small, but warm and cosy next to the coast. There’s something about being close to water - calm and relaxing. Locals are friendly and helpful. Some gorgeous small businesses to try with food and beverages!

    This place was an exceptional find a couple days prior to our trip! It was a spacious, bright, clean and very well-equipped apartment with a great, responsive and accommodating host. Fantastic location too - off the main road, so not overly busy/noisy, at the same time within a few minute walk to the beach and Normanville Kiosk (cafe), as well as a walking distance (or a super short drive) to the centre of town. We loved every minute of staying there, and will happily return once it gets a bit warmer again. Thanks for everything Julia!

    Perfect place for a friends catch-up in Normanville - well appointed , spacious with all mod cons to make for a relaxing stay - lots of beautiful and thoughtful touches such as extra pillows and cushions , herbs in the garden , Bluetooth speaker , sofa stream - a lot of care has gone into making this a home away from home Plenty of room for five of us, short walk to the lady bay resort for dinner and lovely views of the sea and hills Highly recommend for a stay in normanville

    Love the hotel room. Bed is very comfortable. Balcony and furniture is perfect to sit out and take in the beautiful view. Great to have a kitchenette with plates and bowls ect. The spa was really relaxing and everything is very clean. Fabulous staff on reception and in the restaurant. Really enjoyed our meals in the gazebo room. It's our 4th stay and we will definitely stay again.

    Julia, our host, has done an exceptional job creating the perfect home away from home. The Getaway is located close to the beach and the center of Normanville. Easy to walk everywhere. The home was spotless, very well appointed with nice touches like a bottle of wine, cheese platter and breakfast supplied. The heater is very efficient and provided lots of heat on the cool nights.
