    Montville is a gorgeous town in the Sunshine Coast hinterland .. I just love it and keep coming back. So close to everything - including beaches, shopping centres - yet far enough away to escape from the world! Cool winters, open fireplaces and autumn leaves make the place even more special.

    Have been visiting Montville for a few years- the town is pretty with places to eat and stay but sadly it is getting old- footpaths are dangerous for the elderly-- empty shops everywhere and overpriced. Tourists will stop coming if prices increase and go elsewhere on the coast

    Lovely town to visit with some quaint shops cafes & restaurants. Everything was in walking distance. Can highly recommend the Flame Hills vineyard which you will need car to get to & Kondalilla Falls.

    a beautiful part of the Hinterland.

    a beautiful part of the Hinterland. The scenery, the village, the botanic garden and bird Avery, Glass house Mountains and Mary Cairncross reserve, Maleny cheese factory, Flame Hill Winery, The Barrel Vineyard all make it a perfect escape. Recommend a few nights stay.

    We had beautiful weather which gave us a good opportunity to look around the main street without the heat. Enjoyed our meal at the Montville Bar and Grill. The Edge Cafe had superb views and enjoyed their scones and coffee for morning tea.

    Montville is a quaint tourist village with the most breathtaking views of the Sunshine Coast. The people are friendly and it has everything you need. It’s conveniently located to other destinations like Eumundi markets and amazing waterfalls for hiking lovers. Theres plenty of options for a quick coffee or dining out. Poets Cafe was our favourite. It’s a little hilly if accessibility is an issue, but nothing too steep. There’s plenty of public toilets and parking. The cuckoo clock shop is wonderful if you appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into that. A very family friendly village.

    Jake the host was very hospitable and kind. Exceptional service! The hideaway was like being in a luxury cabin in the treetops. food in fridge, spa bath in treetops in our cabin. movies, little books to browse and relaxing music, double shower, fireplace for the winter. away in the rainforest but snug at home. peaceful and so relaxing. Only 2 minute drive up to Montville town centre by a secret road was surprising. We loved hearing the gentle sounds of the rainforest from our bed when we had windows open. fully screened.

    A beautiful B&B in a beautiful location. A short walk to the main street of Montville on a quiet street. The room was perfectly appointed and very comfortable. Laura and Tony made our stay very personal and were available for any queries we had. Breakfast was amazing each morning with fresh, cooked to order eggs and bacon with all the trimmings. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you!!!

    It is well styled, fully furnished and is clean and comfortable for two with what you need for a weekend in the hinterland. Easy drive to Montville; Mapleton and Maleny. The aircon and fans were a must as it was super hot and humid so we appreciated those. We did have an issue but the owner was responsive and it was resolved which we really appreciated.
