For the longest time, Mandurah has been coined as the retiree city for the folks of Perth, and it sometimes feels that way when walking along the Esplanade.... idyllic, relaxed, and somewhat serene, it does feel like a fairly modern regional city centre that lives with a much more peaceful pace to life. Still, and more recently (in the last 5-10 years), Mandurah has shown upgrades in a lot of public amenities, venues and structures! The Mandurah Forum is brilliantly large for a regional shopping centre; the newly refurbished esplanade and boardwalks are a delight, and the myriad of shops along the esplanade with the multitude of modern eateries all attest to its developing nature.Guest review byRazzDazz222Australia - 10.0

On a planned trip of Mandurah there is much to do & see or many Restaurants or Tea Rooms to enjoy a cuppa & cake or more. Fish & chips @ Ciccerello's perhaps? A film Theatre or Concert @ the nearby Concert Hall with comfortable seating. Attractions are numerous & too many to mention. Try an ice-cream @ Simmo's with a friend or children. Always a treat. We dined at the Pen (on recommendation of staff) the food was wonderful and the atmosphere was great. We then went on to see the "Queen" show which was Brilliant. Everything is so family friendly & easy to get to.
Everything is so family friendly & easy to get to. The Pale Ale House is a great place to eat & a fantastic play area for the grandchildren. Our accommodation at C Apartments was awesome. The Eastern Foreshore has improved significantly & easy to spend a few hours there with the play area & bench areas catering for families.Guest review byGregAustralia
