The building has been newly renovated, so our 4 nights there were extremely enjoyable. The rooms are well equipped with everything we needed to make breakfast and coffee every morning. The other guests are quiet and respectful. Also, the view of the harbor from our room was amazing! A great grocery store (The Hill) and good bars/restaurants are within walking distance. We had a car, and the car park was easy to access ($40/day for parking). I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were spacious and super clean! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and to make sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The property is well taken care off. Overall an amazing 10/10 experience!!!

We particularly loved the spectacular view from our room and that Grande Vue was so close to the city. Battery Point itself, the part of Hobart where Grand Vue is located, is a beautiful area with historic houses, so definitely worth seeing. There was home made cake you could help yourself to in the afternoon and the owner Ash was a lovely and caring person. Parking wasn’t an issue either as it’s possible to get a resident parking permit.
