This beautifully appointed Hideout suite, with its incredibly well thought out floor plan, comes with a small but complete kitchen, stacked washer/dryer, comfy sitting room with fire heater, table, chairs, and a carafe with a bit of Port in it to put a lovely finish on your day. Complete with a comfortable king bed, pillows and crisp linens, my husband and I could've stayed much longer had we not had other plans. It was an unexpected pleasure to arrive and find this new suite available for our use. Thank you, Gina, at the Blue Summit Hideaway!

Little bungalow had everything and more. Thoughtfully arranged with nice touches. Easy parking and close to bungalow. They even had complimentary Port in a crystal decanter. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Lovely stay in a beautiful town.

Loved waking up to all of the birds chirping and great views of the stars at night. Malanda Lodge is a boutique motel situated on lush grounds, not far from the village centre. Staff are very friendly, facilities met all expectations. It is a great location to enjoy the surrounds and all that the hinterland has to offer.

We loved the tiny house; perfect weekend getaway and was easy to locate and enter. The firepit was great, we had exceptional weather for it. The shower was fantastic, great pressure and warm.

    The track around the lake was amazing and the scenery and native fauna made the walking even more exciting. Crystal clear waters and clean air made the trip totally worthwhile. Looking for to returning sooner than we thought.

    Would definitely plan a longer stay next time. Comfortable beds, great shower and well equipped kitchen. The wildlife was abundant as the cabins are set right in the rainforest. The information pack on birds, animals and all the local attractions, places to see and eat was exceptional. Friendly staff and the night wildlife viewing was a real thrill

    We stayed in a forest lodge at Chambers Wildlife Lodges - excellent. We had a super morning walk around the perimeter of scenic Lake Eacham , took around an hour. There were quite a few people out swimming in the lake. We travelled on to Yungburra near-by- what a lovely little traditional town - had brunch in the most adorable cafe (sorry can't remember its name).

    Great location, very close to the beautiful town of...

    Great location, very close to the beautiful town of Yungaburra where there are multiple options to eat great food. Easy drive to the waterfall circuit which is breath taking. Lake Eacham has a walking track all the way around, you will need runners or walking shoes as it was slippery in parts, the walk does have a couple of steep areas where you may need to stop and admire the beautiful flora and fauna to get your breath back but mostly easy terrain the rest of the way and you can swim in the lake at the end to cool off.

    Right on the cusp of Lake Eacham. Simply a beautiful palce to stay, rainforest all around and you feel truly immersed in it! The staff were so lovely and even provided a lovely evening session of wildlife watching were we met a few local species Made to feel welcome straight away. We were staying for 2 nights and were offered a complimentary laundry wash which was great! The pool area was clean and looks out onto the natural beauty of the area. Communal areas were large and clean too!

    Everything. What a fabulous gem of a place. The location was stunning, our lodge was spacious, comfy, very clean. It was the little extras that made it even more special. Pool was great. Lake Eacham right down the road.
