The hub of Yorke Peninsula in my opinion.
The hub of Yorke Peninsula in my opinion. There are a lot of historic sites around the area. The people are very friendly and inviting. It is close to some of the most excellent beaches at Moonta Bay, Wallaroo North Beach and Port Hughes. Lots of places to do shopping and have a look around. The Copper Coast has a wealth of attractions - we spent basically a day at each of Moonta, Wallaroo and Kadina - using the Kadina Village Motel as a base. And did not exhaust the range of tourist attractions that we could have visited. The Visitors Information Centres at each of these towns are well appointed, with plenty of information on "where, what and how". And our 'geriatric interests' were passive. The heritage buildings, the art trail, the driving trail , all information, and maps available. The peaceful country vibe.The close proximity of the other Copper Coast towns, Moonta, Wallaroo. We were given an upgrade as well as a complementary bottle of wine & when we got to our room we found chocolates in the fridge.
