We had an amazing stay at this beautiful place! The views of the mountains were absolutely stunning, and the cabins were really clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Everything about this modest unpretentious hotel was perfect for our nights stay. Steph and the team went above and beyond to create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. A quaint country pub along the Coffs hinterland the gold dog offers a great place to rest between drives to the natural wonders that abound the area. The good old country hospitality oozes from brick, and the locals are all welcoming which only adds to the charm. Would highly recommend the Golden Dog to anyone looking for a home away from home.

Staff were friendly, pool was clean and refreshing, the surroundings and access to the river was enjoyable to walk around. I appreciated being able to bring my little support dog who travels with me. She loved the outdoors.
