United StatesBest pub I've been to in Australia. One of the top meals I have eaten with an amazing menu and comfortable stay. The staff was extremely accommodating and kind, a local hangout spot so plenty of conversation to be had but quiet rooms if that is your preference. Everything exceeded my expectations and we had a blast staying here.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Prom Coast Holiday Lodge in Waratah Bay for one night from June 17th to June 18th, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience.
Arrival and Check-in
Despite arriving quite late at around 9 PM, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The staff had left clear instructions for late arrivals, which was very thoughtful and made me feel welcomed right away.
Accommodation
The lodge itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The attention to detail in the decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The room was spacious, with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of travel.
Facilities
The lodge boasts excellent facilities. The fully equipped kitchen allowed for easy meal preparation, and the living area was perfect for relaxing. I also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi, which was reliable and fast, making it easy to stay connected.
Surroundings
The location is stunning, nestled in the serene environment of Waratah Bay. Waking up to the tranquil surroundings and the sound of nature was truly refreshing. Although I only stayed for one night, I could see how this place would be perfect for longer stays, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Overall Experience
Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay at the Prom Coast Holiday Lodge. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and beautiful surroundings made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Waratah Bay.

Great to see the galleries in the area. Visited all the lovely shops and the history of the area. All in walking distance. Advantageous to have a small supermarket and a chemist at the location. They went above and beyond to satisfy everyone’s needs, was a really nice place to stay. Loved the fabulous but small selection of gift shops & cafes, although not all were open on the day we were there (a Thursday) and many didn't open until 10am. Gibsons coffee and breakfast was wonderful and Little Oberon's lunch offering were select but fabulous. Quaint town of approx 850 people. A convenient place to stop overnight if hiking or cycling the Great Southern Rail Trail. Fish Creek Hotel has great food, cold drinks, and accommodation. Fish Creek is a very small town, so dont expect too much. Its summer school holiday, so not every shop is open, specially in the evening and we did not like the Pub/ hotel food and their interior. So we walked to the BBq in the nearby park and had a wonderful picnic. I loved the fact that I could be right there with my brother next to us, but still have our own privacy. Good, simple and clean rooms for a short stay. I’ve stayed a couple of times only for one night for work and it’s always met expectations, except for the WiFi that is not very reliable and didn’t work this time. I also didn’t have enough service in my room or pub to hotspot from my phone. Just something to keep in mind if you need the WiFi during your stay. Other than that, beds are comfortable, room is basic but clean and the pub is great for a nice dinner after a long day out - food and beer selection are great.
