The accommodation was just spectacular. Simple but extraordinary, My wife and I stayed in a one bedroom studio. It was spacious comfortable, quiet and exceptionally clean. We enjoyed the RAC so much that we altered future accommodations whenever a RAC was available. It was our first stay in a RAC and it certainly will not be our last.

We could not say enough good things about our stay at Folktales. It was easy to find only after one drive by, easy to get into the tiny home, and the house could not have been more perfect and comfortable. It was clean, the bed was amazing, the facilities were amazing, and the charm the tiny home has is unbeatable. We were a bit of a walk to town but nothing over the top. We only stayed here one night but wish we could stay forever! The hosts were amazing with directions and instructions, and also left a nice guide to the area that was very helpful. The pictures to Folktales do not do justice to how special it really is!

I liked being right on the Esplanade, which was a good place for walking (though often windy). It was also close to the Museum Village as well as a couple of good restaurants. Though my reservation printout didn't list a microwave, our room had one. The beds (queen-sized and twin) were comfortable. My husband slept on the twin bed so I could get better sleep. I thought the queen bed was one of the more comfortable beds on our trip. The shower had good pressure and the temperature stayed reasonably steady as long as the water was run for a minute or so first and the volume was fairly high. There is a guest laundry with two washing machines and two dryers. The washers are fairly large (double capacity?), as are the dryers. Tokens can be purchased from reception. Another guest told us that a local laundromat was more expensive. We used our own detergent, but apparently that is available from the reception desk as well. The motel honored our special request for a quiet room and put us in the back away from traffic noise, etc. We lucked out with quiet neighbors. We did not eat in the motel restaurant except to have dessert one evening. Though both desserts tasted good, we thought they were overpriced, especially the chocolate lava cake.
