The reason for our visit was to attend an event 20 mins out of Devonport, so we didn't see a lot Devonport itself. What we did see was excellent. Plenty of shops, coffee, food, supermarkets. Did not have time to really explore, so save that for another day.Guest review bySandy - 10.0

Devonport is well located to do further sight seeing.
Devonport is well located to do further sight seeing. I didn't get to see much of the immediate township, however travel along the north coast was great to easily get to places such as Ulverstone, Penguin and Burnie. Launceston is only 100 kilometres in the other direction, plus places such as Sheffield inland are within easy reach and well worth a visit.Guest review byRogers - 6.0

Nice people, friendly and sociable. There are some good places to drink and eat. There is a bit of a nightlife, depending on what you like. Is quite a small town and it doesn't take long to experience a lot the town offers, however its depends what you are there for and want to do. As always, we found it excellent value. A budget hotel but very comfortable beds, great pillows, very clean, fantastic big screen TV , 📺 plentiful hot water in a nice bathroom- and the best is, after a long day's work, just a 20 metre walk across the car park to their lovely bistro.
