Great re-use of the building, with clever design to create bed/storage & hanging space, lovely bathroom with great shower, kitchenette & dining table. Had everything we needed. Induction plate for cooking an excellent idea. Beautiful teas & coffee making equipment. Loved the bench area out the back to sit & enjoy the fresh air & birds. Fabulous location on the Main Street so can get to pub, cafe, bike hire & trails so easily. Lovely friendly host. Sound buffer to stop noise from adjoining loft studio worked well. Bike storage shed easily accessible.

Stayed at the self contained cabin just next to the Bank House. It is clean, comfortable with well equipped kitchen, nice backyard with BBQ facilities (didn't use as it was winter & raining) & entry area with bike racks. There's even a washing machine & drying rack. Truly a home away from home. Cabin is well located with restaurants & attractions within walking distance. The Derby Schoolhouse Museum is just across the street from the entrance. Liz was friendly, helpful and communicative, keeping in touch all the time, suggesting restaurants for dinner, fulfilling our requests. Breakfast was charged extra, when we told Liz that we will have only 1 set to share as we couldn't finish each set individually, she kindly portioned the breakfast into 2 plates with 2 sets of cutlery.

A lovely characterful Tasmanian home. Beautifully furnished and comfortable. Pete was a fantastic host, attentive and generous and we wished we could have stayed longer. The complimentary bottle of wine was most unexpected and very much enjoyed! Aswim in the pool and an outdoor fire in the evening as the sun went down was most relaxing after a long day driving.

    Best little holiday town in Tassie. Friendly, happy welcoming vibe. And of course the mountain biking is excellent. Nice cafes. Hire facilities. Shuttle to top of mountains. Best little pub too - the Dorset.

    This farmhouse is fabulous if you like being away from it all. A short drive into two towns with food and other facilities. The house has everything you need however the double bed was a little short for my tall husband.

    The Bank house cabin rent place to stay and would be brilliant in Summer. I would definitely recommend for Mountain bikers looking to stay around Derby as the hosts also have a good set up to accomodate the bikes and equipment. Self contained kitchen and washing machine was very good. Single beds in the room just to be aware. Close walk to the floating Sauna and all parts of town.

    Location was outstanding, they have a lockable MTB storeroom which is very very convenient. It's an easy ride from BlueDerby & just a short walk into town (1-2mins) FLAT level walk. There are a lot of other places that have very very steep driveway's/access roads.

    it was very clean, tidy & spacious. the location was great, the working farm at the end of the driveway provided lots of entertainment for our son. it was a 10 min drive to Derby. the beds were very comfortable. we would stay here again

    Perfect location to access Blue Derby Trail, epic deck that overlooks the Trail head and veiws of the river. Good bike storage and wash bay facilities. Super comfy beds. Excellent coms with the owner.
