We stayed in 6 hotels during our Australian trip and this was by far the best. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The staff were very nice and the food was amazing.

Wow the views to the bay from the enclosed back deck were amazing. Only meters to the ocean and restaurants a very short distance away. Very dog friendly, beds and bowls for the fur children were provided. They had kayaks and boogie boards there to use, not that we had time in our short stay but I will definitely keep in mind for next time. Everything was fresh and clean. Newly renovated. The kitchen has more than you ever need, very well equipped. Very spacious, plenty of seating upstairs and down. Fully air conditioned. Beds were comfortable. The games room downstairs was great. It was equipped with a reading room, computer room and full bathroom/ laundry. It has more than you ever thought you needed. Highly recommend.

I had a great stay here while in Hervey Bay. The host Roger was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room and all the facilities were great and very clean.

It was a fabulous little oasis. We spent one night here while traveling up north. It was cosy and comfy while.it rained outside. It was amazing at night to see wildlife outside the large windows.

    Love Burrum, love the river & the beach.

    Love Burrum, love the river & the beach. Great fishing. during the day the facilities are good. The only issue is the lack of a restaurant, or eating facilities at night. Love that the pub has a courtesy bus, but food choice is very limited, & no entertainment. The bowls club was closed on a Sunday night, so the only choice was the pub. Food was good, but pricey & not much variety.

    The beach is definitely the draw card.

    The beach is definitely the draw card. Felt like a private beach every day hardly anyone else on it! A very peaceful town, great relaxing holiday. It may not suit those who want a lot to do. Fishing/boating activities are the main attraction.
