Fantastic rural property with a great bit of history - the gardens were a highlight, especially all of the gorgeous flowers 🌸 Jody and Luke went above and beyond to make us comfortable on our stay - sharing information about the local area and the farm. What a unique, wonderful, stunning place!!! We felt very privileged to stay in such an extraordinary place. There is so much to discover, so many lovely details to enjoy. I totally loved the old phone, the staircases, the romantic dining table, the atmosphere!!! And then one of the most beautiful terraces I have ever seen, so lovingly created. We were lucky to spend a sunny afternoon outside, what a luxury! And beautiful gardens... WOW!!!! Ah yes, the biggest coffee machine we have ever seen, oh and the coffeeeeee.... 😍

My wife and I used the suite. I rate the whole stay at Explorers Lodge fantastic. We are very demanding clients, we look for the best places but it is rare for us to give a 10 rating. I would compare staying at Michael's to a Michelin star restaurant. All the amenities such as a comfortable bed, pillows, equipment were at the highest level, but that's not all - attention to detail and the atmosphere created by the owners also count. This creates a higher level of comfort. The wonderful location of the house and the garden are also important. I can fully recommend Explorers Lodge.

Nice breakfast provisions, toast, cereal and milk. Beautiful view of the river with patio space to enjoy it. Too bad I’m not a fisher or I would’ve liked to try fishing there. Nice little TV and DVD selection, framed photographic art in room. Comfy room and clean spacious a bathroom.

This was the only fault , booking .com said to go to a different location and get the keys , but the keys were actually onsite in a lock box
