This place is an incredible maze with comfort and wellness hidden in almost every corner. The heated pools, the lounging areas, the adult only areas… It truly was an amazing, neat experience. And the transfers from the village to the ski pistes is a very big plus! They made luxury and relaxation available and accessible for a solo skier. And the ski cellar; amazing!

Staying at this hotel was a one-of-a-kind experience—like spending a night in an interactive museum, where you can touch each exhibit and feel like a part of history. You can take unique photos, read old books, and gain insight into what life was like in the castle. The surroundings are peaceful and picturesque, and I loved enjoying the mountain view through the window. Our stay was comfortable—the room was clean and fully equipped, and the breakfast was varied and nourishing. The Wi-Fi was occasionally slow, but it turned out to be a perfect opportunity for a digital detox. While having a car might be more convenient, we traveled by train, and reaching the castle on foot from the nearest station or by bus was not a problem. Overall, my expectations were exceeded, and I highly recommend spending a holiday at Matzen Castle.

    The Zillertal is a mountain valley that offers plenty of recreational opportunities. Ten cable cars, part of the Activ card program, make hiking in the mountains convenient. There are also many other opportunities. The location is very suitable for parents with small children. The upper stations of the cable cars are equipped with various challenging circuits and attractions for children. The attractions are very well-designed and fun.

    Big room with fancy furnayures.

    Big room with fancy furnayures. great living room with great view. the kitchen is prepared with many tools and stuff where we cocked our meals. the issue is the villeage did not have options for resturant delivery. otherwise, very great experince. gonna try again.

    Hart im Zillertal is a lovely small town in the Zillertal...

    Hart im Zillertal is a lovely small town in the Zillertal area. Very green! Getting to Hochzillertal / Hochfugen slopes is less than 10 minutes by car. There is a selection of supermarkets, shops and essential amentities. Also, lots of ski rentals and bike shops. Highly recommend.

    I had a delightful 4-night stay at Ferfect Lodgings in Hart im Zillertal. The room decoration was truly impressive, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the addition of a TV with a Netflix application was a great touch for some entertainment. The room sizes were comfortable, and I especially loved the living room balcony that provided a lovely spot to relax.
