It's a beautifully designed and well equipped apartment. Spotless clean. Peaceful. Great coffee machine! I loved everything about this place. It also has a perfect view from the windows and the village of Hardegg is picture perfect. I'd like to stay again and for a longer time! It's a perfect place for a longer vacation.

Martina’s guesthouse was spotless, peaceful, and very comfortable — one of the cleanest and most welcoming places I’ve stayed in. The bed was cozy, the setting quiet, and everything was prepared with great care. But what made this stay unforgettable was Martina herself. When I told her I had come to Horn to visit the town my grandmother lived in before the war, she helped connect me with people who had known my grandparents personally. Thanks to her, I discovered photos, letters, and family history I never expected to find. Martina is a warm, thoughtful host, and I will always be grateful for the experience she helped create.

Absolutely fantastic unconventional hotel with beautiful design, a combination of old historical elements and modern design architecture. Everything is very impressive. Self-checking is very easy, instructions are clear and understandable, a room card is then issued from the machine at the reception, everything is very comfortable and easy. Rooms are minimalist, very clean, water is available, beds are comfortable, bed linen and towels are pleasant and pure white. Fantastic restaurant on the roof of the hotel with a view of the vineyards, roofs of houses, old walls and the castle. Breakfast is absolutely amazing, a large selection of everything, the staff is very friendly, helpful and smiling. An interesting element are the design paintings of an Austrian painter. Overall, the accommodation exceeded our expectations, thank you.

    The town is really small and doesn't offer much beside...

    The town is really small and doesn't offer much beside hiking (within the Nationalpark Thayatal). There is also a swimming pool but it's quite far from the main attractions (the castle and the Thaya Bridge). There are not many restaurants, only one shop (combined with bakery) and most places only accept cash. Also not very walking friendly for a stroller (lack of pavement)
