Fantastic beach, the sea is safe and is perfect for swimming. Modern Beachfront bars & Cafe culture. Every Restaurant we visited was perfect food - so I recommend to try all. Shopping is a 2 stop bus ride into town easily accessible. And local shops/ bakery/ fresh fruits are just a street away from the relaxing sea front areas. Brilliant Town planning. The sea front is Fantastic anytime of day or night. For walking, relaxing, cycling, brilliant sunsets .... Places of interest the monastry and historic sites close by are worth visiting. I felt very safe everywhere I visited. The locals are lovely, welcoming friendly and helpful. Vlorë was great, quiet and chilled through the day and really comes alive at night. The Lungomare ‘strip’ was extremely long and caters for everyone. We went to the Vlora ‘old town’. It’s either been renovated recently or built for tourists but it looks extremely new - it consists of about 2 streets and a little square but is very nice with a good vibe and a few good bars and restaurants. The city of Vlora is a fairly large tourist center. The shops have everything you need, the food in the restaurants is delicious. The locals are very friendly and nice. City with a nice beachfront, but unfortunately there are not so many activities to do. But still, the city is located near the Albanian riviera and it`s the perfect place to use as a start to well-known natural wonders all over the Albania. Also the prices for the products in the shops and restaurants are considerably lower than any other cities which are located on the riviera.Guest review byRauno
