Certainly not the next Rivera! Really ugly in terms of the newer buildings. Not much to do there at all except for going to the beach. Every shop had fake brands in them and that’s it! Sarande as the city itself was not my cup of tea, too many crowds, too many buildings. Might be good for young travelers as there is a lot of entertainment Parking is a nightmare in Sarande, and if you have to , be prepared to pay 10 EUR, regardless of the length of your stay. Taxis are cheap though, in case you don't rent a car. Lot of choices for eateries. We stayed at Heaven Beach, 10 min away from Sarande itself, loved it.Guest review byEsraTurkey - 6.0

Sarandë is a beautiful tourist destination, but the local infrastructure has not adapted to the large number of visitors. Street parking is chaotic and often slows traffic significantly, as parked cars sometimes block the road, causing unnecessary congestion. Regulating the number of cars allowed to certain spots, such as the castle, would help – it’s common to get stuck in a traffic jam with no way out. More frequent public transport connections would also ease the pressure on the city center. That said, I find Sarandë more charming than Ksamil – there’s more to do here, and you can find beautiful beaches that aren’t overpriced. Services are generally good. It’s a pity about the litter, stray dogs, and blocked sidewalks, but perhaps that’s just part of the local character.Guest review bySimonaSlovakia - 8.0
