Everything was great, way above expectations. Amazing view. Breakfast and dinner was great! The room had everything you could wish for. Everything seemed new, including everything in the bathroom. Nice warm shower! The surroundings made me think of a little mountain farm, but with great luxury. Perfect if you want to go hiking the next day.

The guesthouse is not only set in an idealic setting at the base of the mountain with spectacular scenery, but it is moments from the trail. The owners were extremely helpful and kind. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing, and as farm to table as you can get, down to the honey and cheese, made by the owner. I was in a room with three single beds. My room shared a modern, clean washroom with another bedroom upstairs. Staying at this guesthouse, meeting the owners and enjoying the meals has been a highlight of my trip to Albania. I wish I had stayed longer!

We’d love to leave a few kind words about our stay. It was truly a wonderful experience. We were very impressed by the location, the atmosphere, and most of all by our host Flori and his lovely family. They welcomed us with so much care, warmth, and hospitality. They waited for us until late in the evening, as we were crossing the country from south to north for the first time. On the way, they messaged us to check if we needed help or if someone should meet us. It felt very comforting. The food and breakfast were delicious. They looked after us the whole time and often asked if we needed anything. When we had a request, they helped right away. We really felt at home and very well taken care of. To be honest, we enjoyed our time here even more than by the sea. The nature, the feeling, the people – everything is so different here. It’s a peaceful and special place. We truly recommend everyone to visit. This is probably the only place from our trip that we would really love to come back to if we’re ever nearby in Albania again. We booked Valbona Relax for 3-nights to explore Valbone, and it is truly a beautiful and wonderful place. The rooms and bathrooms are kept super well, the food and break is home-made, and the water supply is fresh from the river (one of the cleanest in Albania). We look forward to visiting again. The owner, his family and employees are all wonderful.

What a beautiful place! We spent 2 days in the mountains, and thank God we did not book in Theth, but here! Would do it again like this! (Albanian Alps means "taxi-to-Blue-eye" for many tourists. Drivers didn't understand why we want to hike from Theth-Nderlysaj. On the way you discover unique landscape and waterfalls!) This beautiful old big family-run guesthouse is in nice, silent, rural location. Great big room though we were only 2. Best sleep compared to 4 other nights n Shkoder; with fresh air and calm athmosphere. To extend our tinned supper we ordered meals for dinner which we really liked. Beer was much cheaper than in the city. Petulla breakfast was great! The family members were super nice and accommodating, I think the adorable puppy was the best memory! :) Electricity can fail sometimes, but we went for hiking so we didn't bother about this at all. If you live there it is annoying but as a tourist it was more romantic. I wish we could go back one day! Thank you everything!
