Thanassis is the greatest host, warm, friendly and accomodating. His somewhat remote place rewards you with new and spotless rooms, great views, a fantastic breakfast with local products and otherworldly serenity! Was there with my adventure bike, stayed for two nights and when I left, it felt that I was there for a whole week. The last 2,7 kms to Bujtina KOEL are off-road (starting from St. Mary's church in Labovë), but are manageable even with a normal car if you are careful. Just follow the blue signs to Bujtina KOEL. If you miss the first one, as you will be coming from the West into the village of Labovë, turn left when you face the church in front of you. Exceptional experience from start to finish. Great facilities and a beautiful and peaceful location. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. The service and staff were outstanding. I had lovely time and will definitely visit again.

If you want to visit Heaven on Earth before you die, you should definitely stay in Bujtina Anlu for at least three nights. This place is amazing and the host family are the sweetest and friendliest people I’ve ever met! I will never forget the day I arrived and I got to my apartment. The view from the apartments is, the least to say, breath taking. Everything clean, the bed mattress and pillow will make you feel better than your own home bed. The host lady is a Master Chef. She will cook you the best dishes from the Albanian cuisine. I can keep writing here for ages. The guesthouse provides perfect parking, so your vehicle or motorcycle will be in a safe spot. Also, if you’re a motorcyclist(s) and looking for a quick recharge on your adventure, this is the perfect place for that. 

This place has become my favourite one, and I will be a regular guest from now on.
I love Albania and the people here, this place is just what the people of Albania are all about. Thank you, guys and I love you all!

A truly unforgettable stay! My husband and I had an amazing time during our stay. We enjoyed absolute peace and quiet, surrounded by endless greenery and right next to a historic site. The food, prepared by Gero, was absolutely delicious from traditional local dishes to his authentic pizzas, everything was full of flavor and made with care. But what truly made our experience special was the incredible team. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and we definitely made new friends. A special mention goes to Agush ,unbelievably funny, full of energy, and truly the heart and soul of the hotel. He will forever have a special place in our hearts. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Run by the very friendly and hospitable Saimir, he always made sure I had my every need catered for. Provided a beautiful guest house just a couple minutes walk from the centre of Libohovë with a great view from the front deck. Very knowledgeable about the local history and gave me a tour free of charge around the town. Also gave me a number of fresh foods for breakfast such as local bread and an assortment of fruit, nuts, milk, eggs and jam all made from home. It was a perfect escape from the busier, more touristy towns and cities nearby, and recommend to anyone in the Gjirokaster area.

A very quiet, spacious, clean apartment with good facilities in a fantastic location with an amazing host who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and at home. Very close to Gjirokastër and a short drive to the supermarket, lots of hiking and sights in the local area. Not forgetting the friendly cat of course. Next time we will come for longer, thanks Shpati for a great experience!
