Castle was big, but we liked Berat's better.
Castle was big, but we liked Berat's better. Hills are brutal to climb. Cars going in opposite directions on the same street are often a problem. If you are not on the main streets, gps will tell you to make near impossible turns. Isabella was really helpful in sorting our bus to Berat the day we checked out and we were able to leave our luggage in the dining room while we explored Gjirokaster.
