Castle was big, but we liked Berat's better.
Castle was big, but we liked Berat's better. Hills are brutal to climb. Cars going in opposite directions on the same street are often a problem. If you are not on the main streets, gps will tell you to make near impossible turns. We used the wrong way through the small and steep streets of Gjirokaster and we couldn't find an easy parking spot. One of the owners came down to our car and helped us find an easier road!
