I recently stayed at Xhaferri Guesthouse and had an unforgettable experience! Normally I don't leave reviews, or make them short. But this time was so different! The friendly staff, starting from Grandma who planted and cared for so many flowers around the guesthouse, to the Owner who among other things, took great care even for two amazing rabbits, from the Receptionist who provided any directions and advice on the hiking routes and other activities to the Cook who made traditional and delicious dishes, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The breathtaking views of the surrounding nature were a daily highlight, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, adding peace and tranquillity to village and suburb life. The great food served at the guesthouse was another standout feature. Every meal was delicious and freshly prepared, giving us a true taste of the local cuisine. Additionally, the opportunity to learn about honey-making and picking fresh fruits and vegetables added a unique and enjoyable touch to our stay.

This is the best place in Albania I was so far. The guest house is run by a really nice family which takes care of everything. Beside a nice balcony with a great view there is a restaurant with a even better terrace which service nice local food and drinks. Especially the breakfast was nice and rich. The view over the camion is astonishing and can be enjoyed in the garden as close as possible to the camion. If you're in the area I can definitely recommend this place. To mention is, that you can only arrive from Berat as the other road is only for 4x4 cars but they will let you know beforehand.

When you find Nino's you will be welcomed by an extraordinary friendly family. The youngest daughter speaks very well English and can be helpful for communications. The location Is a gem with a wonderful vista. The house is fully equipped. You certainly will feel at home and welcomed. It was a pity we had to leave.

My boyfriend and I were blown away by this accommodation. It is a spacious, very beautifully furnished and very clean and nice smelling apartment. The beds and mattresses are some of the best we have ever slept on. The blackout of the apartment is also perfectly done, so nothing wakes you up in the morning. Everything is soundproofed, you can't hear any noise from the house or the street at night. Everything is very quiet, including the inaudible air conditioning which works great. The owner is a very friendly and helpful lady who is happy to help and advise and it is obvious that she enjoys the guests' opr There is absolutely everything you could need including an iron or washing machine. The owner is a very nice and helpful lady who is happy to help and advise and it is obvious that she really appreciates her guests. In the morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast for us at the agreed hour, which included homemade butter, homemade jam or Albanian cottage cheese and fresh bread. There is absolutely everything you might need including an iron or washing machine. The bathroom has all the essentials including beauty products or a toothbrush if you need one. The kitchen is fully equipped, there was nothing we missed during our stay. Parking is immediately at the entrance to the apartment. There is excellent coffee 50 metres above the apartment and plenty of shops nearby We personally recommend Piceri di Oro down on the square. Excellent pizza and excellent lady owner. It's a great starting point for a trip to Osum Canyon which is 7 minutes by car This is our several times staying in Albania and it is definitely comparable if not better than a 4 star hotel. Definitely recommended!
