The harbour is in a very beautiful position . very yachty...
The harbour is in a very beautiful position . very yachty and probably more of interest to people who love to see boats or who are joining a boat or on a boat. There is a nice beach Jolly Beach close by. THere is a well stocked supermarket but be warned Antigua prices are more expensive than either British or American prices as the island has to import almost everything. There is a new reosrt being built by Jolly Harbour and I believe the mall is going to be rebuilt too. Lots of nice restaurants in the locality. Just great.
Just great. We are from trinidad and tobago. just make sure you dont get into the tourist traps. Shirley Heights on thursday and trip to Barbuda a must. Circumnavigate antigua is a must. tropical adventures did a fantatic job. In Barbuda Frigate bird sanctuary similar to trinidad's Scarlet ibis sanctuary so we were amazed. Sandra’s bar was the best bar and value , great staff and food . Jolly harbour was the best place we found to stay on the whole island . We would recommend hiring a car . The photos do not do the property justice , it really is stunning . Anthea who manages the property is lovely and there to sort any problems . Beds were comfy, there were beach towels and beach bag available. The villa was extremely clean and contained everything that we needed. Silvia the owner was fantastic and couldn't do enough to help us. There are many restaurants and bars to choose from. Also a supermarket, all within the Commercial Centre. The entire unit was clean and modern with all the amenities listed.
