Wine, electric fireplace, and magnificent view to the sunset in Atlantic Ocean. The place also has a small pool with a view to the ocean, but it was too cold for us to try it. The housekeeper, Maria, was very nice and helpful.

This recently renovated chalet is located 28 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools and 36 km from Girao Cape. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the chalet's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. The accomodation by Silvano and Regina is a state of the art. An amazing house surrounded by stunning mountains. I would like to give this accomodation and host a status: a super host. It is a place whare I could imagine to stay for the full holidays during Madeira travel:), as the whole island is rather small and in short driving distance from here and the house is place assuring fantastic grounded base. Our family of 5 (two parents and three kids ages 13, 10, and 6) had an amazing stay here during our kids' February break. The house is exactly as described, and is lovely. Each of the 4 bedrooms has a beautiful view of the city and the ocean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the outside patio was beautiful. We enjoyed wine outside in the evenings, and the kids ate breakfast outside in the morning. The best part of our stay was the host, Sidónio. He was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. He had great suggestions for things to do and see on Madeira, and our trip would not have been the same without his suggestions!
