Although I felt like I was prepared for the climb up to the cell, it was far more difficult than I expected. Some sections turned out to be rock climbing, not hiking. However, the professional support and gentleness from the guides made the climb possible for me. I feel so grateful for their kindness and hard work. Will come back one day with stronger limbs;)

Kutimuy Lodge asub Urubambas, 600 meetri kaugusel Sir Torrechayoci kirikust. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla ja baar. The suite was large, refrigerator ,stove and other kitchen items were provided though we did not use them. 20 minute walk to the city central. Staff was attentive and arranged a taxi to ollantatambo. Breakfast was very good and even brought to our suite. A throughly enjoyable night.

This hotel is a real hidden gem. The access is a bit tricky through country roads, but once you arrive and the gates open, it truly feels like paradise. The rooms are spacious and the service is excellent. On top of that, the hotel is located right next to sacred valley river where you can chill. And if you love animals, you’ll be delighted !! There are dogs, cat, rabbit, chickens, guinea pigs, and even a Lama !

It’s in a great location away from everything. There is a beautiful river nearby and a great stroll through the jungle as well. There is lots of wildlife. We saw all sorts of mammals and birds. The cabins are beautifully made and the very comfortable and clean. The shower is exceptional. They even offer you gumboots which are great to get around in.
