One of the best properties to stay in at Lake Tekapo. What a beautiful modern home with all the amenities you need. The place was close to everything and had an excellent living room and one could sit there for hours gazing at the stars in the night. We had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again.

It is super classy, clean, spacious and sense of good taste throughout. Everything you need is there. The location is also excellent, very easy and short walk to the lake, yet it is very quiet and private for peaceful time of rest and relaxation.

Situated in Twizel in the Canterbury region, Ruakahu Lodge - Private Lodge in Ben Ohau - Twizel features a garden. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the chalet free of charge. The property was fantastic. The attention to detail was phenomenal, from the bits and pieces supplied for breakfast to the outdoor bath setup. Wonderful stay.

The stuff in kitchen is amazing! And the crews are so sweet they turned the heat on before we arrived, so the welcome-room was so so beautiful-view and also warm. Everything is perfect. And the fireplace is so romantic my son love it so much!
