The room was airy with two separate sliding doors giving access to the garden and decks with tables and chairs for dining outdoors. The room got the morning sun. The bathroom was spacious, and two glass walls of the shower opened right up. The breakfast was laid out for the guests from 8 to 9am, and included mostly breads and sugary things and dairy, which is typical for European breakfasts. I don't eat sugar or dairy, but managed to find enough: boiled eggs, fresh fruit and cold cuts.

The property grounds were beautiful, such a relaxing environment. Staff was very warm and kind and even had us help ourselves to an early breakfast since we were leaving before the official breakfast serving time. Only stayed a night for the close proximity to Mt Cook but would’ve booked more nights to enjoy the place if we’d known how great it is.
