The food was great, the service was superb and the location is incredible. We were only booked for one night (Sept. 15/23) and arrived after dark, which was a real shame as we found out the next morning when we woke up to the incredible views from the balconies of our 'tents'! And even though we got there after the dinner sitting, the staff were so welcoming and they had kept the kitchen open for us and accommodated our request for a lighter meal than planned. The manager, James Ndung'u and his entire staff were friendly, helpful and genuinely happy to have us stay with them. The rooms/tents are second to none with all the conveniences of home. The Cabin, a property with a bar, is set in Nakuru, 18 km from Lake Nakuru National Park, 43 km from Lake Elementaita, as well as 10 km from Lord Egerton Castle. The house is comfortable and offers all the basics for a staycation. We had a great stay.

The staff, Lucy and Janet, were both helpful in every way possible. Sometimes even going out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. The meals were delicious and the compound very clean. The place was very quiet and so serene that you feel part of the environment. Amazing for a one-two day getaway. Given how close it is to the lake, the experience of staying here will only get better if they trim the bushes and trees to have a better view of the lake.

The food was great, nice bar, the facilities were exceptional, but most of all I loved the staff. They went out of their way to make sure we everything. Especially Charles! He went over and above, Mary at the restaurant as well.
