I will also add that the location is excellent, 15 minutes drive from the Plitvi lakes

Our family of 4 (kids are 12 & 14) are wrapping up 7 months of travel. After 45 different stops along the way, I will say that Hedgehog’s place is AMAZING IN EVERY WAY! What an incredible escape from the busy cities that are also awesome in their own way to a simpler time. The scenery is beautiful, then layer in the myriad of animals (sheep, wild boar, pony’s, highland cows, etc), and top it off with one of the coolest cabins that I’ve ever seen. The cabin foundation is 100+ years old, but the renovations provide all the modern comforts desired. Lastly, the little extras and finishing touches take it over the top.

The porch was great with the bad weather we had. Our host was very frendly. Only 15 km from the park.
