Featuring free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as golfing, fishing and canoeing. Nice old home that is clean and well maintained. Very comfortable beds and a large living room and kitchen to use. Friendly owner also greeted us when we arrived and provided helpful tips of things to do and see around the area. The 30-40 kangaroos that live in the area are also a real treat to see if you aren't from Australia. Always a few around the house or neighbors at any time.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mist at Cape Tribulation tremendously. The eco-luxe pavilion we stayed in was well-designed, clean and close to the amenities such as restaurants, Madja, Kulki boardwalks, and Thornton’s Beach lookout. In the evening, we also enjoyed sitting on the day-bed at the verandah, observing the sights and sounds of the floral and fauna of the Daintree Rainforest. Lilian and Kim were excellent hosts — hospitable, warm and friendly.

There is a seating and a dining area in all units. Everything was amazing! Location was lovely in nature, but still close to bus and beach. Everything you needed was in the house and it was very calm, free laundry machines to use, friendly staff and owner. Easy check in and out.
