What an amazing place! We stayed 2 nights at YEN and loved every minute of it! It‘s beautifully located at Butterfly valley, a real oasis away from the hassle at Cat Ba Town. We stayed in a bungalow which was great - bed was very comfortable, there were big windows and the bathroom was new and clean and there was always warm water available :) A definite highlight is the pool - big and clean and very nice way to cool down! You can see that there has been put a lot of thought in the decor and style, it all fits (from small details like the breakfast bowl to the bungalows and pool area). Another highlight are the owners, a lovely couple with great smiles, very friendly and helpful (they organised the transport from Cat Ba town as well as our onwards travel for us). We would have stayed longer if we hadn‘t booked the next destination already and are hoping to come back one day!

the place is run by a very nice and helpfull family, it is very pretty inside by day and even more by night with little light all around the swimming pool and trees. You can also appreciate a broad collection of bonzai small and mid sized in the flowery garden. The food was good, had a wide selection and fare price, no need to go to cat ba city to find another restaurant :) They can arrange everything you need for a good price (scooter rental, bus to hanoi, boat tour, etc...) All around it was one of my best place to stay in vietnam <3

The location of this homestay is very nice, at the beginning of the village. Every bungalows and rooms have a garden around with a quiet atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and very nice. The host is very kind. I recommend the dinner: abundant and very good.

Great hotel with clean rooms and a nice balcony. Cleaning service every day. Super friendly and helpful staff. We booked boat tour through them, rented scooters and got tips for hiking and climbing spots - all super helpful and great tips! Their pool on the top is lovely and clean. Can truly recommend this spot. The location is a bit further from the “main” streets but if you like it more quiet like we do - this is perfect! We walked to and from the city for dinners. It was very good value for the price.
