This was an absolutely fantastic experience that exceeded all our expectations. Simply heaven on earth. The accommodation in the wooden cottage offered amazing amenities (a kitchenette, a common room with a fireplace) and a terrace with a stunning view of the countryside. All group activities took place on the terrace—breakfasts, dinners, and afternoon/evening fun. The rooms were well-equipped, and the bathrooms were downright luxurious. The stairs to the attic are quite steep, so that’s something to keep in mind. Oh, and it’s a good idea to bring your own slippers. There’s also a covered game room with a ping-pong table, darts, and table football. The food deserves its own chapter—of course, in the most positive sense of the word. Breakfasts included fresh pastries, various spreads, cheeses, cottage cheese, and vegetable salads. Coffee or tea was available, and you could cook anything in the kitchenette. Breakfasts start at 8:30, which slightly shortens the daily schedule, but it’s absolutely worth it. Dinners around 17:30 were equally flawless. On the contrary—I’ve never had such well-seasoned vegetarian meals in my life. Served directly by the owner, with a thoughtful explanation. The host, Macijej, besides being a fantastic cook, is also incredibly helpful, knows the area very well, and is happy to answer any questions. As a bonus, you can cuddle with the dog, Albert.
