I did the safari it was amazing (organize by hotel)also driver he knows many animals names fluent in english speak .the foods are really really good and hotel staff very polite rooms are very nice and comfortable.

Really nice little hotel with your own little cabin. Room is clean and tidy, bed is confortable. Incredible wildlife all around with monkeys and squirrels jumping on the roof. The family that own the hotel is really nice and always happy to help you. The food was the best we had around Sri Lanka. You should really try the dinner ! We can only recommand.

Very nice location only 30 m in the pool. Room was clean. The owner is very friendly . He help us arranged our Safari tour next day morning . It was amazing. Our Driver Really good person . We saw 1 Leopard and lot of animals . We are really enjoyed here. Highly recommend

Staying with Sujee was a delightful experience ! We had the chance to stay in the middle of the jungle between trees and a river flowing by. The room was super clean and comfortable and Sujee’s wife prepared the best Sri lankan diner for us. A true peaceful peace of heaven. We also did a Safari with Sujee who know his Udawalawe park by heart and can guide you the best to see the most of animals !

I booked this place at the last minute, after a complicated situation, and not only it was my savior, but it was also a true surprise. I've stayed in many residences, cottages, and hotels around the world, but here I left a piece of my heart. The well-maintained garden, the variety of birds chirping (you can literally go birdwatching in the garden), the clean rooms, the delicious food, and the hospitality of the staff. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay before a safari in Udawalawe. It’s underrated, go and experience it for yourself, and thank you again for everything!

Michael is a person with a kind heart. It was great to meet him and to know a bit more about his life and the place. He made all the decoration himself and everything is very original. The owners are the friendliest and most heartwarming people we met in Sri Lanka. They just help immediately with everything. We just stayed one night because of the safari, but you can easily slow down life there for a few days. There is nothing negative: just the pillows could be a bit softer, but that’s not really a problem.
